A Note For You
I offer you a collection, one that draws inspiration on the symbolism of each moon phase to transport you on a journey of transformation through self-discovery and self-realization. Though these poems are drawn from my own experiences--delving into my desires, dreams, and fears--my hope is that in them you'll find a piece of yourself.
Rather than asking you to step into the light, I implore you to follow me into the dark. Here, you'll find a forest awaits you. The trees crowd around, ancestors offering you protection and sustenance. The stars twinkle above, dreams that may seem out of reach if only you lack the courage to grasp them. The moon arches over your path, providing wisdom and guidance. And deep in the shadows, the glowing eyes watching you are either friend or foe--or both. You must decide. Will you run? Or will you walk with your head held high?

Listen to the song of
the night
the way the flute whistles
through the leaves
the way the bass trembles
above your feet
let your body sway
to the rhythm
let your voice become one
with the music
the notes are ingrained in
your skin
your very soul
a resounding call to
your wild
your bold
your unapologetic fearlessness
